FIELD GUIDE COLLECTION

Packaging gluing machines

Match adhesive delivery to the package-making process.

Where to begin

Begin with the joint you need to make: a side seam in a folding carton, a closing flap, or a broader coated surface. The adhesive chemistry, feed system and application head must suit that joint. A machine label alone does not establish compatibility with your adhesive, board stock or required application pattern.

Use the dispensing guide to write an application brief. For converting flat blanks into cartons, the folder-gluer guide adds crease, alignment and finished-box checks.

Choose the question you need to answer

Use Adhesive Dispensing Machines for Packaging Applications to specify the joint and application before selecting the hardware.

Use Folder Gluer Machines: Board, Creases and Glue-Pattern Checks to check the blank, crease and side seam before accepting output.

What to carry into an equipment or material review

Bring the actual package identifiers, the previous accepted condition and a record of the failure or change you are investigating. Label unmeasured values as unknown. Ask the responsible supplier to connect each proposed setting to the specific equipment and material combination.
